KEN PARSONS

Ken studied under renowned ceramic professors Paul Donhauser and Harvey Sadow and excelled in wheel-thrown Raku Pottery. The clay body he devises consist of six different clay materials and water. They actually mixed with bare feet in a large plastic receptacle to attain his ‘perfect’ medium and able to withstand the intense thermal shock of various Raku Firing techniques. Most recently, stoneware and stoneware sculpture, as well as porcelain pottery, were added to his repertoire of fine and literally ‘home fired’ pieces.
